Mehron ProColoRing™ Bruise
Professional Cream makeup used to create various bruise effects.
How to use this product:
Begin with the Bright Red shade to create a fresh bruise. Add Maroon and Dark Blue to create an older bruise. The Yellow and Green shades are used to create a healing bruise effect. Set with Mehron’s Colorset Powder. Remove with Mehron’s Makeup Remover. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Not recommended for use on children under 3 years old.
Mehron CreamBlend™ Stick

How to use this product:
For easy and smoothing application, warm Clown White in the palm of the hand before dabbing onto the skin. Apply with a foam applicator or fingertips using a “patting” technique to eliminate streaking. Set with Colorset Powder using a Powder Puff. Remove with Makeup Remover or Cold Cream followed by soap and water.
Mehron Hair White & Hair Silver
Water washable liquid for the temporary appearance of graying hair of all types. Available in a variety of sizes.
How to use this product:
Can be brushed or sponged into the hair for a silver or white effect. As the color dries, it will absorb the hair color and become darker. A second or third coat may be needed. For best results, apply additional coats over a smaller percentage of the previous coat to give realistic variation of hair color. The Hair Silver can be used on light colored hair with additional coats of Hair White to give a silver-white look. To remove, wash hair with shampoo and water.
Mehron Tooth FX
Safe, non-toxic, paint-on tooth color. Available in a variety of colors for different effects.
How to use this product:
Paint on dry teeth for desired effect. For best results, paint in small areas between the teeth to give the appearance of decay or chipped teeth. Tooth F/X™ can be removed by applying a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab and wiping the Tooth F/X™ off or by brushing teeth with toothpaste.
3D Effects
Liquid Latex
Liquid Latex is one of the most versatile special effects products on the market! Use it as an adhesive to adhere appliances to the skin, use to seal wax, create 3D effects like wounds by mixing latex with materials like cotton, or apply directly to the skin to create textured effects like aged skin, peeling skin.
How to use this product:
Brush on a thin layer of Liquid Latex to the desired area and allow to dry. To create 3D effects and textures mix Liquid Latex with materials like cotton, tissue, etc. and apply to skin. To create a scar or wrinkled effect, build up thin layers of Liquid Latex powdering between each layer.
To remove use Mehron Makeup Remover or warm water to soften edges and gently peel Latex off the skin. Follow with soap and water. Avoid getting latex into hair or on clothes. To protect sensitive skin, use Barrier Spray under latex.
Mehron Extra Flesh
Extra Flesh is a versatile wax compound mixed with fibrous material that can be reused many times. Create realistic looking warts, scars, etc. without use of adhesives.
Available in a .3 oz (9 g) container
How to use this product:
Apply directly to the skin and smooth out the edges. The fiber allows the edges to blend into the skin easily. Use powder or Fixative “A” to seal and remove tackiness. Remove by peeling off as much product as possible. Remove remaining product with Makeup Remover followed by soap and water.
Mehron professional modeling putty-wax
A pliable combination of traditional putty and modeling wax which, after sculpting, will keep its molded shape. Great for special effects. Available in a variety of sizes.
How to use this product:
Warm Putty/Wax on palm, mold wax to desired shape and apply to skin. Blend edges into the skin. Seal with Fixative “A”, then apply latex for a final skin coating. Remove by peeling off as much product as possible. Remove remaining product with Makeup Remover followed by soap and water.
Mehron synwax
Synwax is a synthetic wax which is easily manipulated to form cuts and other molded shapes. This wax stays flexible and is great for eyebrow block and injuries located on moving body parts like the face and joints.
How to use this product:
Knead the wax until the warmth from your hands softens the formula. Apply to clean skin, use Spirit Gum first for long-wear. Blend edges with a lubricant such as mineral oil, blot off any excess oil once you have the desired shape. Seal with Fixative “A” before coloring.
Remove by gently peeling off as much product as possible. Use Spirit Gum Remover to remove any adhesive. Remove remaining product with Makeup Remover followed by soap and water.
Mehron modeling wax
Mehron’s professional Modeling Wax has been a staple in the entertainment industry for decades. Developed to smooth the edges of prosthetic pieces, to build up facial features, for adding realistic bumps, warts, contusions, and for blocking out the eyebrows. Available in a 1.3 oz (38 g) container, our advanced formula is pliable yet adheres to the skin even under the most intense conditions.
How to use this product:
Use to build up areas for special effects. Seal with Fixative “A”, then apply latex for a final skin coating. Remove by peeling off as much product as possible. Remove remaining product with Makeup Remover followed by soap and water.
Mehron fixative A
Fixative “A”™ is a clear liquid plastic sealer for Modeling Wax, Putty/Wax and SynWax. Available in a variety of sizes.
How to use this product:
Apply with brush as a protective sealer over Modeling Wax, Putty/Wax and SynWax constructions before applying makeup. Allow to 2-3 minutes to dry. Remove with Spirit Gum Remover followed by soap and water.
Artist Tip: Fixative “A”™ can be used to seal intricate water based paint designs, making them waterproof so they appear like tattoos.
3-D Gel
Gelatin-based special effects product for creating realistic skin and prosthetic pieces. Available in 3 standard industry colors (Clear, Flesh and Blood Red) and sizes.
How to use this product:
Heat container in hot water until gel is liquefied (test temperature before applying to skin). Apply to skin using fingers or makeup brush. Product will cure to a rubbery consistency. Any type of makeup may then be applied to complete the effect. Remove by peeling off and washing the skin with soap and water.
Artist Tip: 3-D Gel can be colored with Mehron’s Liquid Makeup or Fantasy F/X makeup while gel is liquefied.
Rigid collodion sfx makeup mehron
Professional formula for creating realistic scar effects. Clear liquid dries and puckers the skin. Available in a .125 fl oz (4 ml) glass bottle with brush applicator.
How to use this product:
Apply a thin line to “fleshy” skin. As the formula dries it will pucker the skin (if the skin is too tight, scar will not be as successful). For deeper scars, apply several coats after each previous one has dried. Remove gently by dissolving with Mehron’s Spirit Gum Remover.
Artist Hint: To create an old scar, use a medium brown pencil and lightly put color down the middle. Use a brush to spread and soften the color. To make a fresher scar, apply a pink color and then brush out. This will also eliminate any shine.
For topical use only. Not recommended for use on sensitive skin or sensitive areas of the face. Patch test a small area, if irritation occurs discontinue use. Flammable, keep away from flame. Use in well ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children.
Crepe Hair
Mehron’s Crepe Hair is used by professionals worldwide. Our 12” tightly woven braids of real wool will straighten out to three times its packaged length. Use for special effects to make realistic beards, mustaches, side burns, werewolf, or any look you can dream up! Available in a variety of popular colors. Don’t forget Mehron’s Spirit Gum liquid adhesive to affix the hair to your skin.
How to use this product:
Straighten braid out by ironing between pieces of wet fabric. Crepe Hair can be glued directly to the skin with Spirit Gum or Latex. For realistic beard, apply in layers. To comb out, use a wide tooth comb or pick. Crepe Hair can be “painted” with Liquid Makeup or Hair White.
Mehron Bald Cap
This professional quality, full size Bald Cap is made from natural latex for a perfect fit. These caps are used by makeup artists worldwide for stage and screen performances.
How to use this product:
Dampen and slick hair back. Fit Bald Cap over the head beginning at the front and pull back to nape area. Cut latex carefully 1/4” to 1/2” beyond the hairline. Fold Bald Cap edge up and apply Spirit Gum to the edge of the cap. When Spirit Gum becomes tacky, flip and gently press into skin and allow to dry completely.
Tip: To finish the application of the Bald Cap and complete the transformation, use Mask Cover Makeup to blend the edges and match the skin.
One size fits most. Bald Cap is good for one time application, not reusable.
Mehron Sweat & Tears
Clear liquid that creates the appearance of moisture beads or tears on the skin.
How to use this product:
Apply with a brush or sponge using a patting or stippling motion to leave “beads of sweat”. More applications will leave bigger beads. This product will not dry, so it’s good for creating a sweaty look for a long period of time. A drop may be applied to the corner of an eye to create a tear. Remove with soap and water.
Mehron Speciality Powder
An ultrafine, loose powder used for cosmetic dirt or ash effects. Available in a variety of colors and sizes. Great for zombies and other monsters.
Available in the colors; Charred Ash, Trail Dust, Natural Bronze and Texas Dirt.
How to use this product:
Lightly dust on with a large brush for dry application. The powder may be mixed with Mixing Liquid to form a muddy or oily consistency. To apply with an airbrush, mix powder and Mixing Liquid to a thin consistency. Remove with soap and water. Wash clothing as per manufacturer’s directions

Mehron AdGem Adhesive
Mehron Spirit Gum
An amber colored, alcohol/resin liquid adhesive solution for adhering Crepe Hair, wigs, prosthetic noses, bald caps, etc. Available in a standard or matte finishes and various sizes.
How to use this product:
Dab Spirit Gum directly to clean dry skin with brush or fingers directly. Secure prosthetic to the area, press and smooth to ensure adhesion. Remove with Spirit Gum Remover followed by soap and water.
Mehron Spirit Gum Remover
A specially developed solvent to remove Mehron’s Spirit Gum. Apply to the desired area and gently rub until the glue begins to break down. Remove with Mehron’s Bared Makeup Remover and Cleanser. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use near the eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Use in well ventilated areas. Flammable. Keep away from fire. Available in a variety of sizes.
How to use this product:
Apply to the desired area and gently rub until the glue begins to break down. Wash with soap and water.
Mehron Adhesive Tape
Our latex-free double-sided Adhesive Tape Strips and Dots are medical grade and tested to be non-sensitizing, non-irritating and non-toxic for use on the skin. Great for applaying fake clown noses.
Contains 24 dots and 12 strips.
How to use this product:
Peel off the side of the strip that has a convenient flap and apply to the skin. Once it is in place, remove the other side of the protective paper. Apply appliance onto the strip and hold in place for a few seconds. Remove by gently peeling off the strip.
Bloods
Mehron Stage Blood
Syrup based blood for fresh blood effects. Formula stays glossy and does not fully dry down. Non-toxic, can be used in and around the mouth.
Available in 2 shades: Bright Arterial and Dark Venous and various sizes.
How to use this product:
Apply to the skin or on top of prosthetics. Stage Blood will not dry, so the blood will continue to drip. Safe for use in and around mouth. Fill blood capsules and puncture them to simulate bleeding (can be used in mouth or break them open on other body parts). Product may stain. Pre-testing is recommended. Remove with soap and water.
Mehron Squirt Blood
A water-based formula that squirts, gushes, and splatters. Squirt Blood will drip and run like real blood. Overtime blood will dry, darken, crust up, and crack just like real blood for the most realistic FX!
Available in 2 Shades Bright Arterial and Dark Venous
How to use this product:
It can be used anywhere for a realistic bloody effects. Squirt Blood will run and eventually dry on skin. Product may stain, pre-testing is recommended. May be used in appliances with tubing and a pump bulb to project squirting blood effects. Remove with soap and water.
Mehron Coagulated Blood Gel
Coagulated blood is an extremely thick syrup based blood that will not drip. Excellent for blood clots, scrapes, and scabbing effects.
How to use this product:
May be applied to any open wound effects (created from Latex, Modeling Putty/Wax or 3-D Gel). Use with a stipple sponge for instant road rash/scrape effects. Formula is safe for use in and around the mouth. Product may stain, pretesting is recommended. Remove with soap and water.
Mehron Blood Splatter
This formula is thin and easily sprays to create blood splatter FX. Blood Splatter will drip and run like real blood. Overtime sprayed blood will dry, darken, crust up, and crack just like real blood for the most realistic FX! Great for finishing off SFX makeup, sets, props, and more.
Available in a convenient, easy to use 1 fl oz (30 ml) spray bottle.
How to use this product:
Hold 6”-12” away from subject and pump the desired amount for a realistic splatter/drip effect. Washes off with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. Product may stain clothing. Not recommended for use on children under 3 years old. Remove with soap and water.

Cleanse and sanitize brushes on the go with our rinse free Brush Cleaner. A blend of grease cutting solvents that cleans and disinfects natural and synthetic brushes. Evaporates quickly allowing for fast reuse of brushes.
How to use this product:
Dip the bristles of your brush into Brush Cleaner, gently wipe brush head on a towel to remove makeup and cleanse. Repeat until brush is clean. For deep cleaning, soak bristles in Brush Cleaner for 5 minutes, squeeze and lay flat to dry on edge of table.
Mehron Stainless Steel Putty Spatula
A sturdy metal modeling multi-purpose tool for applying and forming wax. Great for removing products from containers in a sanitary manner. Double ended for versatility. Square shape end can be used for smoothing out waxes, putty, etc. and to scoop product out of container.
