EffektStudion is one of the biggest and most internationally renowned studios for makeup-, creature- and animatronic effects in Scandinavia. The company was founded in 1996 by Göran Lundström – Oscar-nominated makeup artist with professional experience since 1990 – who also has work experience from effects houses in Hollywood and England.
EffektStudions work is of the highest international standard and it has received several award nominations and been displayed in a number of international magazines and books. Göran works regularly on big Hollywood productions and has worked with a number of the industries role models such as 7-time Oscar winner Rick Baker, legendary Stan Winston Studio and the groundbreaking Jim Hensons Creature Shop, plus several times as a sculptor for Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. In 2019 Göran was Oscar-nominated for his makeup designs for the film “Border”
